Arguably the best and most entertaining of the Terminator films and more commonly known as T2, the sequel to Terminator is one of the most influential science fiction films of the 1990s and one of the most quoted films of all time. T2’s use of stunningly sophisticated computer graphics ideally served the riveting action sequences in which an “old-school” Terminator wages war against a new shape-shifting model that is seemingly impossible to stop. Notwithstanding the technical achievements of T2, much of the film’s worth is found in the thrilling action sequences, a well-conceived plot, and an underlying dark humor which Schwarzenegger brings to the otherwise humorless killing machine (Klaus Ming December 2010).
