Pulp Fiction is a highly stylized and energetic pop culture inspired crime drama with a host of eccentric characters, black comedy, an eclectic musical soundtrack and sharp dialogue, all situated in a cleverly scripted non-linear storyline. The principles provide unforgettable performances, and deliver some hilariously funny dialogue, often in the form of monologues, despite the fact that they are often conversing with each other. Cleverly scripted, the film’s improbable, but interconnected hyper-violent storylines are expertly edited bringing the opening and closing scenes full circle. Pulp Fiction takes itself just serious enough not to wander into pure camp, and provides just enough suspense and drama to be taken seriously (Klaus Ming December 2011).
