My Cousin Vinny (1992)

US 120m, Colour
Director: Jonathan Lynn; Cast:  Joe Pesci, Ralph Macchio, Marisa Tomei, Mitchell Whitfield, Lane Smith, Bruce McGill, Fred Gwynne

Put on trial for a murder they did not commit, two college friends must rely on an inexperienced New York lawyer to defend them in an Alabama court of law. As an outsider, Vinny (Pesci) is put to the test by a conservative judge who is suspicious of his qualifications and not amused by his courtroom misconduct. Accompanied by his long time fiancée Mona Lisa (Tomei), the New York duo provide hilarious comedic performances in what otherwise might be a reasonable courtroom drama (Klaus Ming October 2012).
