nebraskaBelieving that he has won a million dollars in prize money from a publisher’s clearing house, Woody Grant is determined to get to Lincoln Nebraska to collect his prize money. Found walking alone along a roadway and returned home by police, Woody convinces his youngest son to accompany him to pick up his prize. The film, which is essentially a road trip, brings an estranged father and son together in this simple, yet powerful dark comedic family drama (Klaus Ming February 2014).

    Good review Klaus. It’s the type of movie we expect to see from Payne, which also means it’s a pretty pleasing, lovely film.

      Yes it is a quietly powerful film, though not going to get much attention beyond its nominations I think.
