Report (1967)

US 13m, B&W
Director: Bruce Conner

ReportReport is a surreal compilation of television and radio broadcast reports combined with commercial archival footage and edited as short film on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The result is a bleak and disorienting viewing experience that might be said to capture the chaos and confusion surrounding the events. Witnessed by only a few first hand, Report is not a documentary, but rather is a commentary on the shock, tragedy and the continued misunderstanding which grew from what occurred that day (Klaus Ming July 2014).
