audreyhepburnActress and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn, had critical acclaim in not only film, but on stage, television and in music. Perhaps best known for her role in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961), Hepburn starred in over 25 films and was nominated for five Academy Awards, and winning one for Best Actress in a leading role in Roman Holiday (1953). Four of Hepburn’s movies are on the 1001 list, including: The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), Roman Holiday (1953), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) and My Fair Lady (1964). Also noted for her humanitarian work with UNICEF, Hepburn was the recipient of a Presidential Medal of Freedom (Klaus Ming February 2015).
