Trust is a peculiar and strangely engaging dark romantic comedy about a pregnant high school dropout who meets a disgruntled and detached unemployed electronics technician who still lives with his father. With little in the way of a plot, this is a character driven film about two misfits who identify with one another, build a relationship on trust rather than romance, and in so doing transform one another, all the while their families attempt to sabotage their fragile connection (Klaus Ming April 2015).
