Wyrmwood (2014)

Australia 98m, Colour
Director: KiahRoache-Turner; Cast: Jay Gallagher, Bianca Bradey, Leon Burchill, Luke McKenzie, YureCovich

wyrmwoodWyrmwood is an impressive zombie apocalypse film that is surprisingly original and stylish considering the saturated state of the zombie genre and tiny budget for which this film was made. A cross between Mad Max (1979), Shaun of the Dead (2004), and The Evil Dead (1982), Wyrmwood is an exhilarating action-horror film with dynamic camera work and plenty of zombie head shots which never takes itself too seriously (Klaus Ming April 2015).
