Klute is a moody psychological thriller that examines issues of sexuality, paranoia and isolation. The plot revolves around Bree Daniels, an aspiring actress making a living as a high-priced call girl who becomes emotionally involved with John Klute, a private detective hired to find one of her former clients. A dark and emotionally complex character, Bree’s sense of paranoia is explored in psychiatric sessions and the reason revealed when Klute discovers that a stalker has been pursuing her (Klaus Ming April 2015).
