The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)

US 116m, Colour
Director: Guy Ritchie; Cast: Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris, Hugh Grant

the-man-from-u-n-c-l-eThe Man from U.N.C.L.E. is a smart and stylish adaptation of the 1960s television spy series of the same name. American agent Napoleon Solo and his Russian counterpart Illya Kuryakin work together with East German car mechanic Gaby Teller to foil the plot of an arms dealer who has forced Gaby’s father, an ex-Nazi scientist into constructing an atom bomb. A well-balanced blend of comedy and action, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is an entertaining thriller with a great ensembles cast that should be the foundation of a successful movie franchise (Klaus Ming August 2015).

I do hope it becomes a franchise. I’m worried it won’t after the lackluster box office numbers.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Saw it opening night in our town, and the average viewer age in the theater was probably 50.
