GregoryPeckGregory Peck was an accomplished film and television actor whose early career earned him four of his five Academy Award nominations for The Keys of the Kingdom (1944), The Yearling (1946), Gentleman’s Agreement (1947), and Twelve O’Clock High (1949). Though much of his acclaim came early in his seven decade long career, Peck is perhaps best remembered for his portrayal of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), for which he received an Oscar for Best Actor. In total he appeared in four films on the 1001 list, including: Spellbound (1945), Gentleman’s Agreement (1947), Roman Holiday (1953) and To Kill a Mockingbird (1962).
