Minions (2015)

US 91m, Colour
Directors: Pierre Coffin, Kyle Balda; Voice Cast: Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, Jennifer Saunders, Pierre Coffin

minionsThough I may be one of the few people who has seen this movie that didn’t know that were born out of the Despicable Me movies, I nevertheless thoroughly enjoyed this “prequel” of sorts. Speaking a sort of multicultural nearly intelligible gibberish, one might think that the dialogue would get a bit tiring in pretty short order. To my surprise, this was not the case, as I happily followed the insane adventures of Kevin, Stuart and Bob to a terrific musical soundtrack that seems to be more aimed at the adults who are accompanying their children to the theater (Klaus Ming december 2015).
