brooklyn2015Brooklyn is a family drama set during the early 1950s that follows a young Irish woman who immigrated to the United States from Ireland. Leaving her sister and mother behind, Eilis finds herself in Brooklyn, NY, pining for home, at least until she meets a young man. Following a tragic event which takes her back to back to Ireland, Eilis must make a decision that will alter her life forever. A simple, yet moving story, Brooklyn is a beautifully filmed drama that has an authentic look and feel (Klaus Ming January 2016).
