Amores Perros (2000)

Mexico 153m
Director: Alejandro G. Iñárritu; Cast: Emilio Echevarría, Gael García Bernal, Goya Toledo, Álvaro Guerrero, Vanessa Bauche, Jorge Salinas, Adriana Barraza

Amores PerrosAmores Perros is a powerful drama containing three stories about the darker side of human nature which are connected by a car accident in Mexico City. Though the characters vary widely in social class and situation,  each provide similarly examples of dealing with love and betrayal, while dogs provide examples of loyalty, for which the humans seem in short supply (Klaus Ming March 2016).

I thought this was a great film-yet SO hard to watch!

Until I read about where it was heading, I was a bit perplexed, though it made perfect sense once I knew it was three interconnected stories.

And as for the dogs, which i take it was the basis for your comment? Yeah, that was pretty rough.
