Pretty and pointless, Zabriskie Point is a 1960s inspired anti-materialist counter-culture drama about a young man who is bored with campus protests and who meets up with a young woman in the desert where they get naked among the area’s geological formations and incite a dust-filled orgy. Despite the film’s beautiful cinematography and memorable pop soundtrack, Zabriskie Point is a ridiculous film full of clichéd characters and ridiculous dialogue (Klaus Ming March 2016).
