Superbad (2007)

US 113m, Colour
Director: Greg Mottola; Cast: Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Seth Rogen, Bill Hader, Christopher Mintz-Plasse

SuperbadSuperbad is a hilarious teenage “summer” comedy about two high school seniors looking to buy alcohol for an end of term party in which they would otherwise not be invited to attend. Despite the stereotypes and the well-worn plot, the boundaries of the genre are pushed by Rogen and Goldberg’s explicit dialogue and oddball characters, who are far more memorable than most who populate teen-angst films (Klaus Ming August 2016).
