the-travelling-playersThe Travelling Players is a historical drama entwined with classical mythology that traces the history of Greece from 1939 to 1952 as a series of violent political upheavals in which peace and prosperity are promised but never achieved. Following a small theatre company whose performance of Golfo The Shepherdess is continually interrupted by wartime activities, this is a lively musical film that contains elements of black comedy and surrealism (Klaus Ming September 2016).
