WolfCop (2014)

Canada 79m, Colour
Director: Lowell Dean; Cast: Jesse Moss, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Sarah Lind, Aidan Devine, Corrine Conley, Leo Fafard.

wolfcopWolfCop is a hilarious comedic horror film about an incompetent small town deputy sheriff who becomes a werewolf after being cursed by an ancient group of shape changers. Unlike most cursed canines, this campy lycanthrope is fueled by liquor and continues his law enforcement duties while in werewolf form. Never taking itself too seriously, Wolfcop is a well-made low-budget movie that is sure to obtain cult status if for no other reason than its judicious use of Gowan’s “Moonlight Desires” (Klaus Ming November 2016).
