He Never Died (2015)

US/Canada 99m, Colour
Director: Jason Krawczyk; Cast: Henry Rollins, Booboo Stewart, Steven Ogg, Jordan Todosey, Kate Greenhouse

he-never-diedAs a man who can’t be killed, Jack is a mysterious bingo playing loner and reluctant anti-hero who fuels himself on the flesh of his vanquished foes. A comedic horror film, He Never Died is entertaining but an unfortunately underdeveloped concept. Feeling like a dark version of The Man from Earth (2007), Rollins’ deadpan performance as the original, biblical-inspired bad-boy, is perfect for the man who has seen and done just about everything (Klaus Ming November 2016).
