nocturnal-animals-2016Nocturnal Animals is a dark psychological thriller that is based on the central character’s reading of her ex-husband’s first novel which is a deeply personal and allegorical story of her betrayal of their relationship. Dedicated to her, the novel serves as his means of retribution and a demonstration of the deep emotional anguish which he suffered. A disturbing nightmarish drama with interwoven stories and a strong ensemble cast, Nocturnal Animals is definitely not a date movie (Klaus Ming February 2017).
