Loving is a biographical drama about the civil rights of Richard and Mildred Loving, whose interracial marriage, prohibited by law in their home state of Virginia, was upheld by the Supreme Court in 1967. As a decade-long story, this is a subdued film that is as much a celebration of their love for one another as it is a portrayal of their struggle, and a constitutional decision that was long overdue (Klaus Ming February 2017).
