Japan 88m, Colour
Director: Nobuhiko Obayashi; Cast: Kimiko Ikegami, Miki Jinbo, Ai Matubara, Kumiko Oba, Mieko Sato, Eriko Tanaka, Masayo Miyako, Yōko Minamida

House is a surreal super happy horror movie about a heartbroken girl who travels with her six best friends to the country to visit her aged aunt who she finds confined to a wheelchair. Almost immediately the girls witness unusual things and soon find themselves trapped in a house and fighting a losing battle against a demonic cat and a bloodthirsty piano. Seemingly feeding off their energy of the girls as they are consumed, the aunt grows younger, as the house devours them one by one (Klaus Ming March 2017).
