Don’t Kill it (2016)

US 83m, Colour
Director: Mike Mendez; Cast: Dolph Lundgren, Kristina Klebe, Miles Doleac, Michael Aaron Milligan, Jasi Cotton Lanier, Billy Slaughter

A throwback to the 1980s, and with tongue in cheek, Don’t Kill it is an Evil Dead styled gory horror comedy about a series of murders that occur in a small Mississippi town that are inexplicably linked. The puzzle is solved when a demon hunter (Lundgren) comes to town and offers an explanation to the local sheriff and an FBI agent. As Jebediah Woodley, Dolph Lundgren shines as the lumbering lone wolf who offers to save Chicory Creek (Klaus Ming March 2017).
