Baby Driver (2017)

US/UK 113m, Colour
Director: Edgar Wright; Cast: Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Eiza González, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bernthal

A young but skilled getaway driver is coerced into working for “Doc” a mysterious mobster who meticulously plans bank jobs and other big money heists. Hoping to finally pay his “debt” to Doc, the musically powered Baby Driver finds a love interest in Lily, which is used against him. With plenty of twists and turns to amuse, this frantic-paced getaway movie unfortunately goes into Terminator-mode, when seemingly deceased bad guys unexpectedly re-spawn with decreasing payoff (Klaus Ming July 2017).
