Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

US 149m, Colour
Director: Michael Bay; Cast: Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Isabela Moner, John Turturro, Glenn Morshower

Visually spectacular, the fifth live-action installment of the Transformers films is the first of the series that I have cared enough about to review since seeing the original in the theatre. Despite a ridiculous script that invokes the King Arthur Legend and having an unnecessarily long in runtime, The Last Knight is almost watchable because of the film’s less than serious dialogue and the fact that Spider Man did not make a cameo appearance (Klaus Ming September 2017).
