RBG (2018)

US 97m, Colour
Director: Betsy West, Julie Cohen; Cast: Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Jane Ginsburg, James Steven Ginsburg, Nina Totenberg, Clara Spera, Gloria Steinem

RBG is a relatively straightforward documentary film about the extraordinary life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A quietly tenacious proponent for women’s rights for decades, “The Notorious RBG” has become somewhat of a pop culture icon in recent years as a dissenting voice in America’s highest court. However, this new-found popularity has roots that have grown from a lifetime of personal challenges. In no uncertain terms, this is a tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who remains one of the most influential and inspiring persons in America (Klaus Ming January 2019).
