Apollo 11 (2019)

US 93m, Colour
Director: Todd Douglas Miller

Relying solely on archival film and the narration that accompanied the original footage, Apollo 11 is an authentic and inspirational documentary without the talking heads that often accompany the retelling of historical events. Supported with previously unreleased materials provided by NASA and the National Archives, Miller revisits the thrilling events surrounding the July 20, 1969 lunar landing and transports the viewer back in time, place and space (Klaus Ming May 2019).
