Bombshell is a biographical drama based on Roger Ailes’ sexual harassment of women at Fox News. Told largely from the perspective of newscasters Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson, this dramatisation of the events that led up to the firing of Ailes feels much like a TV movie of the week, but with top-notch performances. For anyone who paid attention to the actual events, the film feels somewhat superficial, as it fails to shed much new light (Klaus Ming February 2020).

Good performances but a bit artificial.
Yeah, I agree, looking back at it, it almost had the feel of a “made-for-TV” drama.
