Plantasm marks the triumphant return of my favourite crime fighting trio, Shake, Frylock and Meatwad as they reunite to defeat Neil, a billionaire mogul whose company Amazin has employed aliens which have replaced its human workforce. Working IT from within the mega-company, Frylock is called upon by his old friends to help save the planet all while the Mooninites break the film’s “fourth wall” in an attempt to sabotage your viewing experience. While I’d like to say Plantasm is fun for the whole family, neither my wife or our cat Rosie was willing to watch it with me (Klaus Ming November 2022).
